In 1958, the German Army received six Skeeter Mk.50 and the German Navy four Mk.51, all for evaluation trials.

The type was quickly found to have totally inadequate performance.

The last German Skeeter was decommissioned 15 March 1960.
The Skeeter on display never was in German service. The markings are bogus.
