Intake with 'boundary layer diverter' or 'external diffusor
ramp' or 'splitter plate'...
...however you name it, it's there to
a) keep the boundary layer of the nose away from the
intake,
b) induce and control a shock pattern for external compression
beyond Mach 1.
Note tiny perforation where boundary layer induced by
the diverter itself is sucked away.
